Aqua-Tots Swim School Gilbert

I would not recommend this swim school to anyone, especially if your child is very young and just starting to learn how to swim. I enrolled my 3-year-old daughter, and after attending four classes (including the trial lesson), we had four different instructors. The instructor listed in the app is not always correct. For young children, consistency is incredibly important. Building trust with the instructor is a huge part of helping them feel comfortable in the water, but that was impossible because the teacher changed every single time. Another issue is the class structure. The beginner class combines children from about 2.5 years old all the way up to 12 years old. There is simply no way those children have the same developmental level. My 3-year-old is just beginning to understand and follow instructions, while a 10-year-old can process directions almost immediately and complete tasks independently. Expecting them to learn together in the same class does not create an effective learning environment for either age group. The final class was especially disappointing. The instructor, Jackie, showed very little understanding of how to work with a young child who is still developin

I started taking my 3 year old about a month ago and she has already learned so much. Everyone is so nice and patient. Coach Jacki and Coach Hallie have been amazing with my daughter and we are so happy that she is in their class.

My boys have been going to Aqua Tots Gilbert for a few months and we have loved our experience thus far. Establishment is clean and tidy. Staff are close knit and treat each other and customers like family. Always welcoming, friendly and willing to get to know my boys/inquire about their day or likes/dislikes. As a trauma nurse, swim safety is super important to me and my family. We have already seen so much growth, confidence, and safety awareness in our boys throughout these past 2 months. Lessons are the perfect amount of time to keep their attention. Tiered program to build upon skills as well as create motivation to level up.

This location of Aqua Tots is SUPERIOR to any swim school we have ever attended! The owner is personally an incredible coach, so hands on and personal with the kids in and out of the water. We feel like family here. Thank you for providing more than life saving skills but an environment that we look forward to coming to week after week. No need to shop around, just sign your kids up!

We initially discovered this swim program after winning a raffle for swim lessons, and what started as a fun opportunity has turned into something our family truly values. We’ve now been attending for three months and have enjoyed it so much that we’ve signed up our second child as well. Our kids are 15 months and 2.5 years old, and the staff has been incredibly friendly, patient, and encouraging with both the children and us as parents. The instructors do a wonderful job building confidence while keeping lessons engaging and age-appropriate. The curriculum is excellent, with a strong focus on water safety while also developing real swim skills. It’s been amazing to see our children grow more comfortable and capable in the water. We highly recommend this program to families with young kids.
